Technology has made it possible for us to “seek knowledge”, “curate information”, and “share” what we have learned.
Learned in Edd703 class, Dr. Stachowiak and adapted from Harold Jaroche.

I found an article by Ken Karvall who taught around the world and to me was an example of the Personal Knowledge Management. (PKM). He has been an educator globally, not only seeking knowledge, but sharing it. Read his blog and you will receive a sense of fulfillment in which he uses social media as an effective educational tool. I conclude with quotations from many throughout the ages that have inspired us to be the best that we can.

“Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world.”
Nelson Mandela

“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, and relearn.”
Alvin Toffler

“If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow.” John Dewey

“We are what we repeatedly do.” Aristotle

“Nine-tenths of education is encouragement.” Anatole France

“I believe the most important single thing beyond discipline and creativity is daring to dare.” Maya Angelou

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” Chinese proverb
